Since graduating from college in 2005, I have dedicated myself to the field of graphic/digital design, driven by a passion for interactive design. My early career began as a Flash interactive animation designer, where I worked closely with developers to develop my database skills, and over the years, I have continued to refine my expertise across various design disciplines, including branding and web design.

In 2013, I worked in Dublin as a web and digital designer, where I gained valuable experience working on responsive web design projects. This led me to focus more on UI design, which I found particularly captivating. In 2014, I collaborated with my husband on a personal project, Sign Language Alphabet Ireland, which was designed using Sketch and won the prestigious Silver Appy Award in 2015. This experience ignited my passion for app design and the ability of technology to help people learn new skills.

To further enhance my skills and knowledge in UX design, I enrolled in the Google UX Design Professional Certificate on Coursera in 2022. This comprehensive course with seven modules covered topics such as accessibility, user research, biases, conducting usability studies, and Figma prototyping, among others. In early 2023, I also completed a UX Design certificate from the UX Design Institute, where I learned about industry best practices and the real-world UX design process, utilizing Figma for wireframing and prototyping.

Currently, I work as a graphic designer for an international company in Galway, where I strive to push the boundaries of what's possible in the design field. When not working, I enjoy exploring new cities, cooking, baking, and meeting new people for fresh ideas. and I also learning piano with my 5 years old :)
